Sharing what you have with others and caring about them is a highly rewardable act in Islam. At the heart of sharing comes sadaqa (charity) in different shapes and forms. Allah says in the Qur’an, “To give charity publicly is good, but to give to the poor privately is better for you, and will absolve you of your sins…” (Al-Baqarah 2: 271)
Research done by Harvard Business School concludes that “when people give to charities, it activates regions of the brain associated with pleasure, social connection, and trust…”
Today, you are openly called to give to all around you especially our beloved Mosque….Rahma Mosque!
